Peanut Butter! Whooo! :-)
Hey, writers. I’m currently working on something else (I know, breaking news right?). Anyway, I wanted to take a break and talk to you about Peanut Butter.
“Wait, what? What’s that?”
You mean, “Who is that?”
Wait, what?
Haha. Hit the jump, writers. Let’s discuss.
I had a friend before. He was a very good man.
Every time I want to mention him I think to myself, no one on AlohaAlvin.com knows who he is. I’ma have to “explain” his background one day.
Well, first of all, today isn’t that day. Ha. Sorry. Today’s post is just a quickie. Been meaning to say some stuff and it just felt right.
For simplicity and in order to dodge future headaches, I was going to call him John Smith but then I thought, “Nah. I can do better than that.”
So I’ve settled on calling him…Peanut Butter. Well, I like peanut butter (the food), so it makes sense. Actually, I like peanut butter, butter, buttermilk, butterfish…hm…I’m sensing a pattern here. Ha!
Okay, a little bit of digressing here. Haha.
Keepin’ It Short
Okay, writers. I didn’t want to have a lesson today, but one crept up anyway. Honestly, this might be the most important thing I’ve ever said to you. So this is from Peanut Butter himself:
“You can’t win the lottery if you don’t buy a ticket.”
Bruh. I effing love that line so effing much. I need to say to you all what I said to him when he said that to me, “Dude…I’ve never heard that before.” Honestly, I can say that I still haven’t heard that anywhere else.
Writers, the “lesson” here is that even if what you’re targeting is a ridiculous longshot, if it matters to you then you have to pursue it. And even if every [person] in your life [craps] on your dreams then you fight on anyway. And if you have to go it alone then you go it alone.
And when you succeed, drop me a line, and I’ll give you a shoutout.
Aloha,
Alvin
P. S. Yes, I will absolutely be writing more on Peanut Butter in the future 🙂

Very thoughtful post.
I have another concept that I use for the word Peanut Butter. I couldn’t come up with something to say in response to a question so I responded with the word Peanut Butter and it just kind of ”stuck”. Haha made a punny. So often my friends and family hear that from me and understand.
